We are offering many of our ewes with their lambs to keep our flock on the smaller side while our children are young.  These are some of our best ewes and we will retain these as our our ewes if not sold.

 Our Ewes:

Dasha black gray horned ewe ( )

A lovely, long bodied ewe who is out of Celeste (Meadow x Mr. Big and is sired by Rusty.  She is a well built, shown here as a yearling.  You just can't go wrong with such great genetics!  Love her sugar lips and sweet face!

Chanel black spotted ewe (1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2,2 )

This beautiful and friendly girl does have some leadersheep genetics and soft, silky fleece that she always passes along to her lambs.  In true leadersheep style she has a tall upright build. She has a wonderfully sweet and inquisitive personality.  She is very milky and produces huge lambs that are always an improvement over herself, what every shepherd wants in a ewe.

Celeste black gray ewe (1, NB )

This gorgeous girl is a treasure in our flock.  She's out of our dear Meadow sired by the infamous Mr. Big; both carry the well loved Solee in their lines.  Meadow and Mr. Big both were bred by Barb Webb so this girl is a way to carry on the Jager line.  She's a beautiful, well built girl with finer fleece and excellent mothering skills.  Looking forward to many of her offspring to add to our flock in the future especially now that Mr. Big is gone.

 Bella moorit mouflan ewe (1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3)
A nice long bodied girl who comes from our most parasite tolerant ewe, Tango (who hasn't been wormed in almost 3 years).  This beautiful girl has lovely silvering on her deep moorit fleece, just like her sire Calvin Klein.  She's a "wow" girl and is lovely artwork in the pasture!

Daisy black badgerface horned ewe (1, )

A beautiful, sweet ewe lamb out of our Chloe, born in 2016.  She is a Rusty daughter and produces a fleece that is to die for!  Nice size though she's shown here as a yearling, she's grown up and filled in now as a 2 year old.  In an effort to keep our flock smaller we are offering her for sale a bred ewe.

For sale with her lambs

Kate - black grey mouflan ewe (2,NB, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2)
Kate is a beautiful, friendly girl with a dense fleece made up mainly of thel.  She has a beautiul set of horns and is one of our largest ewes.  Her lambs grow very quickly and are often very friendly just like their mom and vigorous too!  She is our son's favorite sheep; a real sweetie!

Kate is now retired and is enjoying the relaxation of pasture mowing.

Polled Ewes

Meadow white ewe (2,2, 2, 2, 1, 2)

A beautiful white Solee daughter bred by Barb Webb.  A delicate, feminine face, yummy fleece and excellent build from years of AI parentage.  A favorite in our flock.

Ari - moorit spotted (2, 2, 3, 1, )

This adorable girl is one of the best all around ewes we have produced on the farm.  She's a daughter of Prada sired by Bud, a blocky and sweet ram from Queso Cabeza Farm.  She has a lot of AI genetics in her background, carrying Mori, Arfi & Dalur - all in one!

She has an extremely dense, soft fleece with that amazing, chestnut color!  More importantly she has a blocky stance and meaty build.  She grows an amazing fleece and amazing lambs year after year, she's the true Icelandic. She's always one of the first to get noticed by any visitors and her lambs, whether there is 3 or 1 are always the largest!

Danielle (1, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2, )

We fell in love with Cormo fiber and decided to add one to our flock.  Danielle is a registered Cormo ewe with amazing fiber; we can't get enough of it!  Her fiber is so valuable she wears a jacket wherever she goes to protect her wool.  She grows some of the largest lambs in the flock each year with their amazing hybrid vigor and beautiful fleeces, typically more like a Cormo than an Icelandic fleece.

 Chloe black badgerface mouflan ewe (1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 2, 3, NB )
Chloe is a beautiful black badger mouflan girl who always throws the most beautiful, vigorous lambs.  Her claim to fame is all that luscious fleece made up primarily of thel with very fine tog.  She rarely needs worming and is an excellent, attentive mother.

Chloe past away in her sleep early 2016; we'll miss her always, she was a treasure in our flock and a pet.

 Pint black spotted ewe (2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1)
This striking girl is actually a black sheep with extreme spotting making her white color a real "ultra white".  She is very milky with dairy genetics bred by True North Dairy; an extremely well built girl with nice shoulders and rump.  Her lambs have always made us proud, no matter what they go on to do.

Pint is now retired and is enjoying a relaxing life of mowing and being a pet.

Prada black solid ewe (unknown history prior to 2011, 3, 3, 1, 3, 2)
A fantastic Preston daughter, bred by Barb Webb.  This lovely girl is a prized addition to our flock and we are always thrilled with her fantastic set of triplets!  A well built ewe with nice structure and a nice fleece.  This girl can keep up with the Holsteins, her triplets are some of the largest lambs, impressive!  And that lovely black fleece never browns or fades.

Gone but not forgotten, we lost Prada in late 2015 to bloat; we are grateful to have her daughters in our flock.
